at Sweetgum Station
Before You Arrive
Sweetgum Station is intentionally small and community-focused.

Pricing
Camping/Parking Spot
$10 per day/night includes access to: outdoor kitchen, cold and hot water, washer, dump station, solar power and community spaces.
Yurt Stay
$20 per day/night includes everything above, plus: private yurt, bed, electricity, light and fan. Perfect if your rig is being worked on or if you simply want your own space.
Long-Term Stays
We welcome longer stays for guests who are:

working on their rig,
-
participating in work exchange,
-
contributing positively to the community.
Standard stays are up to 14 days, but longer stays may be available depending on your project and available space.
Why So Cheap?
Our pricing reflects our mission to be affordable and cover the amenities used during your stay. While exceptions may be considered, Sweetgum Station isn’t intended to be a destination for luxury RV tourism.
Community Expectations
Our only real rule is simple:
Don't be the reason we need another rule.

Clean up after yourself.

Leave shared spaces better than you found them.

Return borrowed tools clean and in good working order.

Keep pets under control and clean up after them.

Campfires are welcome in designated areas.

We'd rather build a community based on trust than a campground full of signs.
Amenities
Everything you need to keep moving
Whether you're staying one night, two weeks, or longer while working on your project, Sweetgum Station is designed to provide the essentials that support life on the road.
Outdoor Kitchen
Shared Kitchen with a sink, hot water, refrigerator, grill, burner and space to prepare meals - all solar-powered..
Dump Station
A convenient dump station is nearby on the site for you to empty thr black and grey tanks on your rig.
Pet Friendly
Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please clean up after them and be considerate of other guests.
Professional Help
Need another set of hands? Assistance available for fabrication, repairs, and custom projects at $50/hr
Fresh Water
Refill and refresh with plenty of fresh county water available to fill your tanks and enjoy a hot shower.
Tool Access
Shared tools available through a checkout process and must be used responsibly. Some require supervision.
Yurt Stay
Need your own space while your rig is apart? Stay in the yurt with bed, electric, lights, and composting toilet.
Solar Power
All of the electric power here is provided by the sun and no grid tie. We are experts in solar installation.
Laundry
Washer and line to dry clothes to make the stay easier. Private indoor laundry and shower coming very soon!
